Profile
Yoh Yamagatani, a muscular teenage boy whom grew up in Lunarvale, is now a student living in Port Island, attending Gekkoukan. Though growing up poor, losing his father when moderately young, and going through a stage of horrific rebellion, one would not think the boy in particular ever experienced these things. Kind, caring and quite forward in socialization, Yoh tries his best to help anywhere he can in an attempt to make the world a better place. Though with a hidden deep craving for power, he keeps it stamped out, and has joined SEES to help in their crusade. Just like everyone else, he is a young man with his own troubles, now caught up in a fight of his life. In the end, will he be able to make a difference? Is his father still out there? Will he become strong enough to protect his friends?

Description
Yoh is a aoung adult with an average appearance. Standing 6 feet and weighing roughly 150 pounds, he tends to blend in with those around him, as besides his strange hairdo, he doesn't look very different from other Japanese young adults his age. He has jet black hair, which he maintains in an unusual fashion, using gel to let half of it dangle in clumps correctly, and fashioning the rest to stick outward in strange directions. His eyes are a deep emerald green, which seem to give him an almost piercing gaze at times, though always warm and kind. He appears rather svelte, but is actually quite solid and muscular from his martial arts training.

The boy goes to Gekkoukan High, as he can be seen often sporting the symbolic school uniform they use. His little personal accent to the uniform is a lime green ascot he keeps on during school hours. If seen during a day off, or later in the evening, he can usually be seen wearing what consists of a pair of baggy black carpenters (not to be confused with 'gangster style' pants half clinging to your thighs.) He has dropped the Polo style he has once been seen with, for a black an gold buttondown ensemble, usually with a white undershirt. Sometimes he is seen wearing his Karate Gi, which is mostly a traditional style in form. Made from heavy canvas, black is the main color, with underlying cerulean borders along the seams. As for shoes, he seems to have a preference for basketball styled ones, believing they help the most, having good maneuverability when using martial arts, or better yet, kicking faces in.

Accessories Yoh can be seen with only consist of a military time watch that also displays the date and other important chronological information, being gold in color, a gold band with an onyx gemstone within, and a stylish, sterling silver dragonhead necklace.

History
Yoh was born in the town of Lunarvale on October 1st, 1992 to his mother and father. At first in his life, his family was on the lower tier of living, sometimes barely getting by, His mother taking care of him when she can, being an associate college professor, and his father being 'self employed' in the area of psychology, performing as a mere therapist most of the time, despite wanting to do something more.. Thankfully a good change came at an opportune time.

Sometime in 1998, Around the time Yoh was 6, his father wrote a series of papers discussing and theorizing about the average human Ego. Later that year he was approached by a small group of colleagues who said they were researchers from an important research team, the Kirijo Group. They offered him a position among the group performing research on the psyche of the human mind. They made a very generous offer, seeing the father's potential. He was rather skeptical, but as no other alternatives were present, as well as the destitute position his family was in, he had to take it. Because of his choice, his family now was going to have a good life for the next year and a half, Yoh's family was one of the happiest ever. He became quite prestigious in his field rather quickly, and the boy's mother quit her career to take care of little Yoh full time. Unfortunately, even good causes sometimes have bad effects. Later in the year 1999, The boy's father became.... distant. Something happened that seemed to shake a man known for his commandeering presence and serenity. When inquired he would refuse to mention anything about his work for a time, muttering equations and hypotheses under his breath for long periods of time. Yoh and his mother tried their best to make the best of the time they had with him, being as work had been called off due to unexplained reasons, but he acted as if he was elsewhere the entire time, as if he had something on his mind that was unfathomable. After that point, Yoh and his mother almost never saw him anymore. Even though his job was never reinstated, he left for large lengths of time, going somewhere he refused to talk about. When asked he would never give a straight answer. He would only say things like "It is important." or "It is something I have to do.". They tried getting him to quit, to no avail. The nights he was home were restless, with him having horrific nightmares, and waking up screaming. Slowly, they saw less and less of him, until one day, they no longer saw him anymore.

November 23rd,, 2000. Yoh's father vanished.

The family, the father's friends, and his colleagues were devastated. They had all known him as kind, caring person. Everyone had feared the worst. The boy's mother launched all sorts of investigations to try and locate him. Sadly, after three months with no leads, he was declared deceased. The family left was deeply saddened, and Yoh went into a deep depression for a long time, secluding himself to his room, only ever coming out for school and food. A a few more months after his father was declared dead, his sadness and fear of being alone in the world began to coalesce into hate. He began to become a troubled child, taking out the anger of his father dying on those around him, causing mischief, picking on the weak, and hurting those who opposed his anger. There were many people he hurt, and things destroyed during this long fit of rage. Many places banned him from returning, and he and his mother were shunned by most. He had truly become what he had hated the most in life.

Thankfully, this was not to last. Early in 2005, While salvaging what was left in their abandoned facility, Yoh's father's colleagues found a hidden room containing documentation that was unknown to them. It seemed to involve Yoh's father, and were shocked at what it seemed to contain. After deciphering the documents, they came to the Yamagatani estate as soon as possible to pass the transcript on. Upon handing over the papers, the torn family immediately read it. Enclosed it mentions meetings of a group of people several times, sometimes involving much travel. That would explain the long times away from the house, but there was something more that shocked Yoh and his mother. Some of the documents were clearly dated past the time that his father was labeled dead.

He realized that this could mean that his father may yet still be alive! His heart instantly jumped for joy at the thought. The boy and mother's hopes were renewed, as the thought of his family being together once more sounded like a dream that may come true. As time passed, he began to become more caring after that day, helping those he could, like he knew how is father would. As he became a better person, he set out to repay those he had once hurt, trying his best to spread kindness along the way. Sadly, some of the things he did were unforgivable by some. He had anticipated some would not forgive him, though trying as best he could. For each transgression he performed, for each person he wronged, he vowed that though he could not help them, he would help others a thousand fold, knowing in doing this, wherever his father may be, he would be proud to call him son. To this day, he still helps anyone in need as he goes about his life, as well as finally becoming more social, thanks to his mother's urgings, beginning to take part in extra-curricular activities after school.

Persona & Resonance
Magni.gif
I art thou... and thou art I... I art Magni, son of Thor. Lifter of the unmovable, bearer of the Bringer of Storms. Let none stop our might on the journey to Valhalla...

Magni is depicted as the son of the Norse god Thor, and the Jotumn Járnsaxa, a giantess. He was a gargantuan demi-god, believed to be an estimated fifteen feet tall, and wielding an extremely large hammer pre-Ragnarok. He was known for representing power, strength, and fearlessness. He plays an important role in a battle between Thor and the giant Hrungnir. Thor defeated the giant utilizing a blow to the head with Mjolnir, the legendary hammer. While Thor killed the giant, it's body fell on him, pinning him to the ground. Thor, nor any other Aesir could move the body. Magni learned of this when he was only three days old, and went out to see him. Once he arrived, he effortlessly moved the corpse off his father, saving his life.

After saving his father, Thor gave Magni Hrungnir's fabled steed, Gold-Mane, also known as Gullfaxi. It was capable of most things supernatural, such as air and water travel, though not quite as fast as Odin's fabled horse of the same bloodline, Slepnir. Odin was rather angered at this fact, and was disappointed in Thor for not giving the horse to his father, rather than his son.

After Ragnarok was to transpire, Magni and his brother, Modi, were to be bequeathed Mjolnir to rebuild the world and all civilization. Magni was believed to be the only god besides Thor himself to be able to use Mjolnir at all.

Yoh's Resonance he puts off varies by which method of detection is used. It could seem like war, or something more calm, though one thing remains the same throughout every detection method. It is powerful, loud, and easily felt. Finding him for even inexperienced detectors and spotters is a piece of cake. Unfortunately there is no way for him to dial it back. Yoh's own detection has its own pros and cons; He has near-spotter level detection, able to feel even the faintest of Resonances, whether hidden or dormant. Unfortunately, his maximum range of detection is about five feet in front of him. So while he has no range at all to feel out for incoming threats, if someone is standing right in front of him, he can easily identify if they have a Resonance or not. Of coruse there are exceptions, like Chidori Yoshino for instance.

Feeling: Yoh's resonance is powerful and direct in nature. The sounds of war seem to abound on both sides. The marching of soldiers, clanging of metal on the bulwarks of the frontlines, and the battlecries of those instilled with the courage of those they care about seem to ring out everywhere. The scent of the air before a storm, and heated steel, fresh from the forge clings to the air faintly. The sounds seem to rise to a culminating point, then dissipate as quickly as they came. The feeling that, even set against impossible odds, to stand and fight for what one believes in with honor, is better than to die a coward.

Sight: Yoh's resonance seems to belay a strong sense of him leading comrades onward to a fight. A crowd may be envisioned behind him, aching for battle. They may be alongside him, or even in front of him. They all appear Norse in appearance, ranging from battled-hardened to simple townsfolk. They are always heading in the direction he is heading, or facing. as well.

Sound: The sound of the hammer hitting the anvil, the sound of toiling near the furnace, the hissing of metal touching water, as well as the clashing noise of weapons hitting other weapons or shields, and battlecries of men can be heard if listened to closely enough.

Scent: Not quite that pleasant unfortunately. The scent of still air and earth, like that before a rainstorm, with a hint of blood detected. Those more attuned may smell coals and heated smelting tools as well as molten slag.

Inventory

Weapons:

Twin Strikers - Strike 4, Reliable. Yoh's new choice in weaponry. After enough instances of breaking hand based weapons, and inflicting injuries on his hands themselves while fighting, He has opted to go with wielded weaponry, and what better than a blunt object? It is like a ranged fist! These hammers were pilfered from the spoils of war after the Blue Wolves defended their territory from The Joker and Pandora. Wielded by one of Pandora's Oni, only to fall into his hands, they are a lovely shade of light gray, rectangular in shape at the head like a cement hammer. They have black intricately carved wooden handles, with large gold metal hoops at the end. At the loop, red ribbon is tied and wave in the wind, to a tattered edge on both. Yoh has, of course, taken some type of burning stencil to it, and put S.E.E.S. on them, to represent the team he supports. The hammers are surprisingly effective against Demons and Shadows alike. Maybe there is something magic about them?

Plated Biker Gloves - Strike 4, Focused. Yoh used to use glove based weapons back in the day. These were his favorite from day one. While hardy and painful, they tend to wear out fast, as with almost all weapons of the genre when he uses them. His most recent pair were a gift from Minamo Takagawa at Christmas!

Scoring Claws - Slash 3, Reliable, Poison1. Yoh obtained these one day as he visited Thora Kobayashi at her workplace, Daidara's Metalworks in Inaba. They were a rather good price for such a weapon. They are some kind of plated gauntlets, with three vicious 8-inch blades sticking out from the back of the palm, anchored into the gauntlet. The metal it is made from is unknown to Yoh, but it is a black, with deep red speckles within. It never seems to dull or need repair at all, either! The weapon seems to be toxic to most things, including people and Shadows. Yoh tries to refrain from using these if possible. Since his change to blunt weaponry, these have hit the shelf, but still tries to think of a way to apply it's usefulness weapon-wise in a different manner...

Backpack:

Pink Mittens. A hilarious mishap fighting enemies in Tartarus left Yoh without weaponry. Since Yoh tends to break or splinter fingers when punching with Magni-level power, he needs to wear gloves or mittens to soften the impact on him. Minamo Takagawa was the only person on hand with any, and... well, that is how he got them! He should return them sometime soon.

Prism Crystal. While not nearly as big as it used to be due to using most of it to fashion a necklace for Nagisa Renge's birthday, Yoh has a small shard of it left. Clear gray in color, it has a strange swirling pattern that reflects light up the center of the crystal in a prismatic fashion. Most likely nothing special about it, it was obtained in a cave deep under KNOWS Castle while it was still exposed, along with the aforementioned girl as they first formally met.

Fancy Leather Jacket. A birthday gift from Kasumi Horie This jacket is rather snazzy! Made of actual leather, not fake stuff, it is a dark gray color. it has inside pockets, as well as a rather warm neck-hugging collar! Yoh was shocked to receive such a high priced gift (at a guess, anyway). All the more reason to get her something even better for her birthday!

Silk Headband. Yoh was not too fond of how snug the SEES signature armbands were, so he made his own identity mark! This is just simple red silk with a marker taken to it to spell S.E.E.S. on it. Since obtaining the Twin Strikers though, this has taken a permanent shelf spot on his Shelf of Unique and Important Oddities.

Silver Dragonhead Necklace. A gift for his birthday from Minako Arisato! Made of sterling silver, it has crystal eyes, red as Minako-chan's own! He tries to wear it as often as possible, having previously been lacking neck jewelry.

4G HD Android Phone. Yoh is generally not one to be pro-technology, usually preferring simple things. The one exception Yoh has as a state-of-the-art phone. The one he has can do everything; plan events, calendar, GPS, games, high definition video, internet browsing, voice command, data USB storage, friend contacting, you name it! The only thing a teenager needs these days.

Bling Ring. The one thing Yoh almost never shows anyone. This ring is the last item Yoh has of his destructive times, back when greed ruled him. A solid real gold ring, with 16 decent sized cubic zirconium gems shaped in a square on the head of it. Yoh never wears it, but keeps it in a front pocket at all times. It is the one material possession that helps him remember what he used to be, and to remind himself to never become it again. Maybe one day when he is able to truly leave his past behind he will wear it as a badge of ascendance...

Mysterious Gray Container. (!) Something Yoh owns that even fewer people have seen than his unique ring. Yet just like the ring, he is almost always with it! It resembles a slightly larger cigar container, light gray in color, with a fake alligator skin design. A zipper keeps the box closed, and has a thin layer of metal keeping the storage device in it's shape. Yoh's eyes alone grace the inside of this thing. What could be in there? A gun? Nuclear detonator? Actual cigars? Maybe one day, you too will earn the right to see what is inside, and earn it's secrets!
OOC Note. This pocket container is larger than usual ones, and sticks out sometimes on Yoh's person. Whether in the inner side pockets of his button-down shirt, to his back pocket, it can be seen by those with exceptional vision. If you have the foresight or ability to spot this, feel free to call him on it! If you are far enough on his good side, you may unlock a useful ability!
People who has seen the secret: None yet!

Michi Yamagatani, XIX - THE SUN: Yoh's mother and only known guardian at the time. Michi grew up in the Port Island area along with her mother and father, whom lived rather above average lives in a good area of the city. She currently works at at a conglomerate pharmaceutical company in Lunarvale as a secretary. Since Satoru's disappearance, she hasn't taken it quite as hard as Yoh figured she would, and recovered quickly to lead a normal life. She is rather beautiful for her age of 37, looking quite like she did as a young adult still. She has brunette hair cut rather short, and deep green eyes. She seems perky, talkative and energetic, which clearly answers the question of where Yoh got it from. She is rather active as well, working out at a nearby gym, doing gardening, and going out for nights out on the town with her friends in her spare time. She currently lives on the Yamagatani Estate in Lunarvale, which is in rather close proximity to one of the ends of Joy Street. One would think with such a quick recovery that she may know about Satoru's actual whereabouts...

Satoru Yamagatani, V - HIEROPHANT: Yoh's father. A once self proclaimed psychologist, gone well known psyche researcher, gone believed deceased scientist. He grew up around folks in the countryside, leading a quiet life until moving to the city and studying in psychology. After marrying Michi, he sought a well paying job for a time with no luck. With nothing to do in his spare time, he wrote a series of essays dictating theories of how the human mind works in conjunction with others. Catching the eye of Kirijo Group, he soon obtained a job with them. After the catastrophe in Port Island, he became distant from his family to seek answers to what had happened, as thankfully he was not at the main site at the time of the incident. Not long after, he disappeared, faking his death. Choosing to sate his thirst for knowledge over his family, he abandoned them in that manner to join SEBEC to perform research, continuing his studies from Kirijo Group. He still manages to get money to them somehow to help support their lives without them knowing it.

Chip, XXI - THE LAZY: - The laziest calico cat you ever saw. Michi's pet. Chip was originally adopted as a coping mechanism for Yoh when Yoh was young, to handle Satoru's disappearance better. Over the years though, it gradually backfired and Chip attached to Michi. Now due to Yoh's move to the SEES Dorms, he was forced to bring the fat cat along, since it was his all along. Yoh now carries Chip with him quite a few places, as to try bonding with him better. It has so far worked. Whether he loves or hates the attention he's receiving, he never does anything about it, due to abounding laziness. He is so lazy that no arcana could describe him, thus forcing the Velvet Room attendants to make a new Arcana just to describe him. (Not really, but it gives you an idea.)

Clarice Redridge, XVII - THE STAR: - An American woman of age 28, Clarice lives in the rural areas of Inaba in a rather small yet lavish home. Clarice is white, with brunette hair, good looks and blue eyes. She had gone to college with Michi, and was a great friend throughout the years to the family. She has taken up a life as a pharmacist, and likes to experiment with medication, hoping to make the next breakthrough and make a name for herself in the medical field.. With a little help from Michi, she is able to do small research privately through some good deals through her best friend's company. Yoh often finds himself in Inaba, running small parcels of medication to Clarice to help save a little postage cash. He occasionally bunks there as well if the errand runs too late!

0 - THE FOOL:

  • Tohru Adachi: A detective! Oh man, an officer of the law of sorts. Yoh already respects him so much. While Yoh has not had too many encounters with him, he sure tries to be nice and helpful on the SEES boards, and with a bit of humor, too! Despite all this, Yoh has absolutely no idea who he works for. Surely being involved in all this he would have a side he assists, right? Well, which one is it?

  • Minako Arisato: A bubbly, adorable girl. So cute too! She is apparently a core member of SEES, being there near the beginning. She is extremely friendly, and goes out of her way to make anyone feel good about themselves! Yoh gets really nervous around her due to her overly kind ways. Tends to say things that make Yoh uncomfortable, but for all the good reasons, as she is nothing but a high-school teenage girl formed entirely of good intentions. Makes a wonderful person to talk to when you are feeling down!

  • Joker: A strange figure whom appears to those when something unique happens. He is extremely powerful, as much so as the clashing colors he sports. Yoh did not have much of an opinion about him, until he took Shirou Sekigawa under his wing, effectively taking away his good friend, and then staking to take Mikage-Cho away from Thora Kobayashi and her Blue Wolves, of which he is a member. He cannot abide by this. Joker is a person Yoh wants to hit really, really badly.

I - THE MAGICIAN:

  • Sayori Kaizumi: A quiet and outgoing girl from Inaba. Owns the Inaba Ice Rink with her family. Very close to the KDA members, and somehow related to Misaki Toritsume. Yoh helped rescue her from her Rumor Shadow, he thinks it was. While Yoh lost all the hair on his head in the process, at least it will grow back, and he saved someone's life in the process!

II - THE HIGH PRIESTESS:

  • Fuuka Yamagishi: A kind mannered girl Yoh has met several times in SEES. Very intelligent, she seems to have the most profound knowledge on the abilities of Resonance of anyone Yoh knows. An integral part of SEES, she is able to feel out dangers from very far away! Since Yoh has no range to his detection, someone like Fuuka is a gods-send. Excellent healer too, as she has patched Yoh up more than several occasions. He has heard she is not the best cook around in the dorms, but he would eat her food anyway, just because she is so damn helpful!

  • Maki Sonomura: There is much to say about Maki Sonomura. One, she is... not a normal girl by any means. She was split into fragments of herself somehow, and is also in charge of a reality warping device called the DVA. Many things have come of it; The creation of Mikage-Cho, The teleporting of a group into an alternate reality, catching a glimpse of the future, the release of her shadow, Pandora, whom threatened to curb the world to her desire and ascend to the Collective Unconsciousness... She has many more problems than a normal person due to her charge. Yoh does not envy her this task, but hopes she will endure; she seems quite nice in person, though he is a good deal more attached to Aki, a demon aspect turned human, whom had a hand in awakening Yoh in the beginning. He can only hope that this girl will dismantle that machine one day to prevent future mishaps.

  • Yukiko Amagi: A teenage girl met a few times, and apparent kin to the owners of the Amagi Inn in Inaba. She seems rather softspoken, but otherwise a good chatter. She also seems rather religious, taking an interest in Shinto when talked to at the Lunarvale Shrine.

  • Shiori Hibiki: An extremely kind teenager Yoh runs into often. While she does seem nervous when it comes to talking about well, everything, she does provide advice and supportive comments where possible. Yoh actually looks forward to bumping into her. She appears to work at Cafe Chagall. Yoh feels guilty for getting Shiori into troublesome situations quite often when she is around, or causing her to feel bad. Yoh experienced his first Dark Hour with Shiori.

  • Masumi Hayashi: A long relationship in the making. She is a man dressing as a woman to befit her personal desire. Yoh has nothing against it, really. He respects her by referring to her as the female gender, of course. A curious yet caring person, Masumi has been through the ringer. She had become Shadow Possessed, changing her completely, in what appeared to be that she was an actual girl! Very lustful and flirty, Shadow Masumi was, what Yoh thought, a wish come true to the girl. He learned what a Possession truly meant though through this incident, that she was imprisoned inside her own body and unable to do anything. Finally, cornering the Possessed Masumi, then right after, taking on TV Shadow Masumi back-to-back in the TV world, they freed her of her problems in what was surely one of the most glorious fights Yoh will ever remember. He has not seen her since, but from what he hears, she is doing well. Thank the gods!

III - THE EMPRESS:

  • Mitsuru Kirijo: The heir of KirijoCorp and commander of SEES, Mitsuru is a person Yoh idolizes. And might have an unrequited crush on in some small form due to how forgiving and kind she is. And of course pretty. Mitsuru helped Yoh get initiated into SEES when he was confused and unsure of what to do. It has been a long time coming in SEES now, and he still goes to her for advice all the time. He has messed up a time or two as well, and has been rather forgiving, knowing Yoh at least means well with his actions. While her company caused the Dark Hour, he knows with her determination and SEES at her back, it will be removed from the world on day, and when it is, Yoh will raise a glass to her name.

IV - THE EMPEROR:

  • Akatsuki Enda: A well respected member of SEES and of another group in Sumaru. Akatsuki used to be a member of SEES until he decided to move on and assist the group in Sumaru, whoever they are. Yoh always gets useful suggestions and the like from him, sort-of like Mai, but less brutally blunt and tolerable. He seems to have a brother of some kind, that is causing all sorts of problems for everyone. Yoh hopes he is able to stop him!

V - THE HIEROPHANT:

  • Shinjiro Aragaki: The biggest boss of SEES. While not actually commander, Shinjiro seems to commandeer more respect than Mitsuru due ho his rough and seemingly off-putting attitude. While not actually being that way, he is merely hardened for some reason or the other, one Yoh has not yet learned about the superior. Serious and often to the point, Shinjiro is a man's man; a person that will get things done. If there is an urgent matter that involves tactics and combat, you can bet Shinjiro will be at the helm. Yoh would follow him into hell and back if he had to. Has a seemingly wonderful relationship with Ran Itoh.

  • Shou Hamada: One of Yoh's smarter friends he has come across. Also one of the few he seems to run in to all the time. Not that he minds anymore, he is rather fond of Shou's company. One of the bonds they share is they learned about the presence of Personae at nearly the same time. Shou is seen quite often with another friend Yoh has, Yuu Tenjou.

VI - THE LOVERS:

  • Yuu Tenjou: A rather recent acquaintance met through Shou Hamada, Yuu seems like a decent person, though a solid opinion on the teenager has yet to fully form. He is often seen with Shou, hanging around different places together.

  • Rise Kujikawa: OH MY GODS BEST SINGER. Yoh is a huge closet Rise fan! Almost all of his music on his phone is hers. Yoh even knows her decently well! How lucky is he?! The difference between him and every other fan in existence is, even though he knows her, and has mentioned he is a huge fan, he does not talk about her work or singing career in any way at all, because he knows it annoys her to no end in a way. So, he just hangs out, and does things that normal teens do! Try to make her life a little more bearable by not being just another swooning fan. I mean, he will swoon, but not around her!

  • Shinsuke Kusagawa: Yoh had only known very little about this SEES member until a fateful moment where Hinata Itoh was tearing Yoh a new one verbally. He stepped in and helped guard him against such harsh words, which Yoh wholly appreciates. He didn't mean to make her angry. Ever since, he has gotten to meet him more often, and Yoh helped him be rescued from his dungeon, as well as find out about his... preferences. Again, like Masumi Hayashi, Yoh does not judge people on such unimportant things. They can do what they like! It's their life. Related to Itsuka Mizuhara somehow. Also great clubber. Will have to go with him more often!

VII - THE CHARIOT:

  • Aigis: A member of SEES. A real life blond robot! Oh man, Yoh is amazed by her very existence. He has so many questions for the girl android! He wants to ask them, but rather not gush or embarrass her. The strangest part is, seeing Aigis in so many places where he goes and socializes, she seems more human than some people he knows! Yoh has finally gotten to know her better. She really wants to be human it seems to him! She also has some sort of very protective view on Minako Arisato. Yoh hopes to get to know her even better over time! She really is fitting in. At times Yoh even forgets she is a robot now! It is crazy.

  • Chie Satonaka: A girl Yoh has seen frequent TV rescues and other bad things as of late. Apparently a big member of the KDA, she is close friends with many of their members. Yoh finds that she is like if he was a girl! If he was a girl he would totally kick instead of punch, because girls look awesome when they kick somebody silly. Unfortunately he knows very little of her outside the fact that she loves martial arts, another indication that they would get along, told to him by Yukiko Amagi.

VIII - JUSTICE:

  • Tsuyoshi Tadase: A teen Yoh met under the Augustus Tree one night. Seems rather studious, which is never a bad thing. Yoh always liked hanging around smart folks. Though Yoh can only imagine what Tsuyoshi thinks of him, seeing as their first meeting was with him in a rockstar costume with his matching cat. Tsuyoshi also appears to have a pet raven named Trouble.

IX - THE HERMIT:

  • Yanagi Chikafuji: A shy artist that recently joined SEES! Yoh became artist practice when recovering from wounds during a TV dungeon excursion, not that he minded. He attitude and acceptance boded well for her on her way to getting integrated into SEES! Hang in there, Yoh is cheering for you, Yanagi!

X - THE WHEEL OF FORTUNE:

  • Ran Itoh: The middle sister of the three Itohs. Yoh only recently met her, but instantly recognized her before names were exchanged to be related. They are not much different from each other! A little bubbly yet with a quick wit, she helped Yoh feel better about himself after losing his hair to a rescue. He will have to thank her somehow! Possibly by treating her youngest sister even better?! Is that even possible? Clearly has a relationship with Shinjiro Aragaki.

XI - STRENGTH:

  • Thora Kobayashi: The most baddest ass girl you will EVER MEET. Do not cross her! She will mess you up! This is the only person that straight up scared Yoh. Very few things do this. This instantly made Yoh want to latch to her, which ended up in a pretty cool relationship over the years. From her helping him get into the world of Persona, to training him, to teaching him many things, to entering him into the Blue Wolves, and beyond, she is like, the best person ever, and Yoh will never betray her. he is currently a General in her demon army, and will stay that way if he can help it. She has been though much, from finding out she was created rather than born, being a tool for Takahisa Kandori, to struggling to find her own niche, to having her heart broken, Yoh has watched it all happen. She is stronger than people will most likely ever know. Final warning; don't mess with her.

  • Michi Aomori: A hyper KDA member, under Thora Kobayashi's wing. She attacks enemies strange wit ha soccer ball. Hilarious at first until one sees how crazy effective it is. She is always friendly and approachable, and has a nice sense of style. Seems to have a fondness of nature. Or trees, whichever. Yoh will probably see more of her as time goes by! And this will not be a bad thing.

XII - THE HANGED MAN:

  • Wataru Hoshimoto: An odd kid that Yoh has ran into a few times. He seems to be a good person, though he has some trouble communicating. Possibly a speech impediment or disorder? Either way, Yoh has a positive impression about him. He is also a fan of the boy's artwork. Considering the strange alias Yoh has been given by him, he must have a close relative with the same name. Wataru recently asked Yoh to recruit people for some sort of game, so he went with it to find people.

  • Reki Kurusu: A mysterious teenager Yoh encounters quite often. Yoh finds Reki much like himself; to do good and be dutiful is to be a good person. Yoh finds him chivalrous and kind, but constantly serious. He seems to have an unusually potent fear of the Dark Hour in Port Island. He also appears to work at an unusual number of jobs, but Yoh never questions it. Maybe it is just his thing. Yoh vows one day to get Reki to cut loose for a night and have fun!

  • Chidori Yoshino: A white robed Gothic girl with bright red hair. Yoh finds her near insufferable due to her brash and rude nature toward pretty much everyone. Though Yoh is rather pulled toward her for some reason, whether it be her unique outfit, or wanting to find out just why she is so mean to everyone. Chidori baffled Yoh with the fact she somehow knew he was in SEES before anything suspicious at all was even said, or given away in any form.

XIII - DEATH:

  • Minamo Takagawa: An easy to approach socialite in SEES! Minamo, whom prevfers to be called Nyamo, is a good perso nto pass the time with! Quite generous, she tends to bring out the best in people with her giving ways, Yoh included! When Yoh needed gloves, she gave him her mittens. When he needed a hat, she got him one for his birthday! The list goes on! If you want to have fun doing something, you invite this girl.

  • Shirou Sekigawa: A very chaotic fellow that Yoh enjoys to call his friend. Very smart, and extremely hard to peg, Shirou has been all over the map. From a cool, calm and collected fellow, to a person filled with murderous intent towards a certain CEO and any Shadows, to now being a member of the Masquerade, Yoh finds his decisions as of late to be... off course. He also broke his boss' heart! Come on, man! Really?! You had a good thing going! Yoh however, finds it hard to remain mad at him. Shirou has always had ulterior motives to everything he does, for better or worse. Mayeb this is another of his plans...? Only time will tell.

  • Yumi Kazeki: A girl that... Yoh got pulled into the world of Persona. Every time he sees her he is filled with a great deal of relief, and a little guilt. She seems nice, though Kaede Fujioka is clearly affecting her. Having given her an evoker, he had hoped it would save Yum in some way. He has not found out if it has, but his task is clear; he has been elected by SEES to be her liaison and guardian, and to teach her the ways of Persona. She got pulled into this by Kaede. Yoh will be the one to help her defend herself.

XVI - TEMPERANCE:

  • Chiaki Ichikawa: A teacher from Yasogami High School. Yoh has bumped into her often. She seems a bit on the snippy side at times, if not outright pessimistic, but overall is a good conversationalist. It seems like at times she has something troubling her, and from information gathered, it may have something to do with her love life.

  • Hitoshi Taniguchi: SEES member. A teenage boy Yoh has encountered three times. Whenever Hitoshi is around, he tries to suppress any conversations that seem to begin to drift towards the supernatural. Though now that point is moot due to Yoh's awakening. Since then, Yoh has run into him often on operations, and gets to socialize with him quite often, something Yoh was hoping for. He has found Hitoshi to be a good conversationalist, and overall a caring person. Yoh has been trying to get to know him better, especially after seeing what he went through in the recent DVA mishap. He is often seen with Yuuka Chiba. Something there perhaps...?

  • Daiya Kagami: A gorgeous girl of unknown origin! Yoh has sighted her multiple times as well as visited her, starting with the chocolate fountain event when time was repeating. having saved her groceries from a chocolate explosion seemed to earn her favor! He has sicne seen her within the alternate reality, as well as a year later, at the Port Island shrine. Very kind to Yoh. Almost too kind! Not that he is complaining.

XV - THE DEVIL:

  • Itsuka Mizuhara: A very forward girl not afraid to speak her mind in the few scenarios Yoh met her. She sticks to what she believes in, and is extremely defensive of her brother, Shinsuke Kusagawa. Seeing her go to his rescue in his TV dungeon, Yoh wishes quitely he had a sister like Itsuka. Though he might not ever tell her that. Would be embarrassing!

XVI - THE TOWER:

  • Takahisa Kandori: The King in Black. A terrible person if one ever existed from what Yoh hears. He actually did not believe many people at first, as he had never wronged anyone that he saw. While others led Yoh down the path of Persona, gave him the key, and opened the door, Takahisa was the one who began Yoh's journey. Many an encounter had been met, with no true fighting to be had, until the final. Takahisa sought to plunge the world into an apocalyptic event, and had to be stopped. Through might and magic, Guido was felled and perished. it was the first death Yoh had a hand in, and surely changed the way he thought of life. He feels horrible for doing it, but it was a necessity. As Mai Namikawa said, It was one death to save millions, despite how stereotypically sci-fi it sounds... it was true.

  • Mai Namikawa: Once known as Himeru, Mai is not SEES, but rather a very often used ally. Very blunt, intolerable, and a poor enthusiast, Yoh... just attempts to avoid her in social situations. Other people seem to understand her and like how she acts and talks, but it just rubs Yoh wrong. Maybe there is something he is missing about the girl that would help him comprehend her comments and rhetoric better. One thing is for sure. She is savage in combat, and takes no prisoners. Efficiency never lies. As such, he puts up with her. She is helping after all, right?

XVII - THE STAR:

  • Hinata Itoh: SEES Member and Sensei! Hinata was tasked to be Yoh's liaison when he first started in SEES. She taught him how to use the evoker to get used to summoning a Personae at first, as well as how to combat Shadows. The youngest of the three Itohs, Hianta is extremely speedy and sports oriented. You could say she rubbed off a lot on Yoh, which has had a prominent effect on how he acts today. While not seeing her much as of late, she is never all that far from Yoh's thoughts. Same with anyone that has helped Yoh a great deal.

  • Teddie: A kid in a bear costume. Makes lots of puns, and has an adorable face! he seems to reside inside the TV if that is even possible. He thought humans died when the fog rolled in? Maybe he is an exception? He has not met him near enough to crack the mystery surrounding him.

  • Kasumi Horie: Ah, Kasumi. A lovely girl whom has come to offer Yoh emotional and mental support quite often! She is very sweet, and always worried about people. Yoh even started to develop a crush on her! Unfortunately fate sometimes does not have the things in store for you as you think it does. Kasumi moved to Sumaru to help with the problems in that area, and Yoh hardly ever gets to see her anymore. They got involved in the Persona business roughly at the same time, so are also like comrades in arms. He tries to visit her when he can, but time just does not allow it sometimes. Maybe if situations change a little one day...

XVIII - THE MOON:

  • Kaede Fujioka: Where does Yoh start. Well, Yoh loves Kaede. He does! The first girl he has ever fallen in love with. It started as a hodgepodge relationship full of playful insults and often partering up to patrol Tartarus and the Dark Hour with, and then... grew. They became closer as time went on. Got to know each other more. The insults turned into topics about one another, and the patrols grew... more fun. And then she disappeared. For a year she was gone. Until she showed herself once more, now Shadow Possessed. Even stranger, Yoh is the only on that even remembers her in any way, or who she used to be! Feelings were reborn, and Yoh confessed to her in a moment of the shadow's weakness. Now he is locked in the self assigned mission of curing her by any means necessary. He will have his Kaede one day. One day...

  • Keitaro Nagasaku: A young teen Yoh runs into often lately. Seems rather nice, though timid to a degree. He is rather small, and wears glasses along with fancy clothes, which Yoh finds his fashion to be particularly awesome. Probably is bully bait, but Yoh would put a stop to that if he was around. Yoh wonders what Keitaro thinks of him, because so far, every meeting with the boy, Yoh is wearing a bizarrely different outfit. Thankfully as of late, Yoh has given a more defined look by meeting Keitaro in his usual clothes. Seems to have a maid named Kazumi with him occasionally.

XIX - THE SUN:

  • Taiki Himuro: SEES Member. A priest or bishop of some sort. Maybe a shrinekeeper? Either way, great person to talk to. Yohs big moment in getting to know Taiki in some form was during and after the Black Queen DVA incident. Taiki helped reassure Yoh and aid in his questions and doubts after it had happened. Definitely someone Yoh owes a favor to in his eyes.

  • Takeshi Odori: A cool guy with a cool attitude. Yoh met hi ma while back, and they just... sort of clicked. He is a bit on the slacking side, as well as somehow angering girls in the SEES dorm, but overall he is harmless in the grand scheme of things. At least when it comes to urgent matters, he never fails people. Slacking is all good and fun, long as lives aren't on the line. And he wouldn't do that!

XX - JUDGEMENT:

  • Nagisa Renge: A very good friend of Yoh's, now deceased. She had succumbed to some sort of illness that Yoh never found out about, maybe to spare him the hurt. Originally with Strega, Yoh was wary around her, until they began to get along in public, and hand a unique friendship. Friendly and got along in public, but when on sides, they fought for what they believed in. It was wonderful. It was like she was a rival he could get along with. But the illness got the best of her, and she perished. Yoh will never forget you, Nagisa-chan.

Errata
  • Main photo art done by Arielucia @ Deviantart. Get art done by her! She is cheap and does great work!
  • I am available at any time to RP! just drop me an @mail or page me MUSH-side to arrange something!
  • As well, I am game for anything game-changing MUSH-side to happen to Yoh. After all, I just go with the RP flow. So anything less extreme than Condeath, I will do! I just ask that you okay it with me first, as well as with the admins!

Some IC Notes:

  • Yoh is deathly afraid of Snakes. If anything about you, Persona, what you wear, or even resemble a snake, do not expect Yoh to hang around! Fair warning!
  • While Yoh is dense as lead sometimes, he has a talent for hand puzzles, such as the Rubik's Cube and others. He can be seen messing with them from time to time. His intellect in math helps him remember the algorithms needed to solve them quickly.
  • Yoh's father is indeed still alive, and working for SEBEC in their science facilities. If you want to go somewhere with this, whoever is reading, talk to me!
  • It is hard to get Yoh angry at someone. The only surefire ways to do this and make him hate someone is to either attack him abruptly for no reason, but 'just because' or insulting his intelligence. Feel free to use this as sort of Pseudo-IC information if you just want Yoh to hate you forever.
  • All of Yoh's NPC links are aware that Yoh's dad is still alive. Even his mother. He is even tied into his work and he does not realize it. They all three run a secret drug research club-like thing. Nothing special though (like creation of Lib or anything) worth noting in case of it being useful. Satoru uses his vast revenue and information and feeds it to Michi, who in turn uses her connections in the pharmaceuticals company she works for to purchase raw supplies, who in turns gets it transported to Clarice for experimentation, who then sends newfound info to Satoru and the process repeats, with all three getting paid well for the effort. And Yoh is the errand boy running the supplies from Michi to Clarice! There was a reason besides the given 'too expensive to mail' said to Yoh. Some of the medical supplies transported, while not illegal, are almost never seen outside a medical production company and may raise suspicion if found while mailing! Rather diabolical, huh? Imagine of Yoh finds this out!
  • Yoh has a thing for girls who stand out, if this has not been noticed or vehemently denied... let this text here state that he does. So there. Take that, legal documentation!
  • Everyone has a special little trope about them that makes them special; something they are incredibly amazing at. Yoh's talent, unknown thus far at the point of typing this, is hair cutting and styling, the latter especially. When Yoh was younger, he helped his mother prepare for work. His task was to fix her hair for her! Over the years it paid off as he learned new styles from her and related magazines. As if this was not obvious enough; only a master hair stylist could keep Yoh's hair in the style it is in at all times!
