Description: Sayori's features are rounder and softer than those of her sister. She is also much shorter. She tends to wear her hair short and in two mini buns or else down with a headband usually. When her hair is down it is about shoulder length. She is often seen in the Yasogami uniform. However, she has a rather large quantity of clothing so outside of school her attire varies greatly. Her newest accessory is a necklace with a tiny ice-skate hanging from it that she bought at Junes.

Name Meaning
Sayori means Japanese halfbeak.
Kaizumi means ocean-dweller.

Leviathan is a fire-breathing creature of such immense size that the sea boils when it swims on the surface. It ruthlessly and fearlessly rules over all the creatures of the sea. The Leviathan's skin is like a double coat of mail, with overlapping scales as large as shields on its back, and as sharp and hard as broken pottery on its underparts. Swords and harpoons will simply bounce off such protection. It breathes smoke from its nostrils and flames from its mouth which is rimmed with teeth. Its fins radiate a brilliant light and its eyes are like the glimmerings of dawn.

Leviathan

Resonance: Anyone sensitive to resonances would find Sayori's resonance is that of power lurking just beneath the surface. Also the feeling of heat radiating from her would be noticeable. For sound, you would hear the sound of the ocean and the crackling of a fire. For smell, it would be the smell of saltwater mixed with smoke like that of a campfire.

Shirou Sekigawa: Helped get her acquainted with KDA and also to get into contact with Souji. They have met quite a few times since then. He also helped her with her resonance detection skills. Their friendship has bloomed over time and with the events of late, she feels like she is probably one of his few remaining friends.

Himeru Namikawa: Weird girl that Sayori met during Misaki's illness. After Misaki recovered, Sayori invited Himeru to a belated birthday party at the beach.

Thora Kobayashi: Shirou's girlfriend and president of the student council. Sayori likes her a lot and looks up to her. She is most grateful for Thora's involvement in trying to destroy her shadow even if the shadow escaped. She depends on Thora a lot as a leader and one of the more visible members of the KDA.

Hinata Itoh: Friend! They seem to have a lot in common. Their first meeting consisted of a Dance Dance Revolution challenge and Hinata proved to be a worthy dance opponent. She also invited Sayori to the Lucky 7 where she found out that the Itoh family owns the store. Sleepovers and future dance offs seem to be part of their future.
