Profile

Kaoru Saga was once a promising Japanese public prosecutor, sending many criminals to jail with the assistance of his partner, Miki Asai. However, one day he dug too deeply, investigating the Taiwanese Mafia for connections to the top leaders of Japan. That investigation cost him both his partner and his position. Now he works to become an instrument of vengeance against those he knows are responsible for his partner's death, scorning the law that failed him in the past. These days, the world only knows of him by the name 'Baofu', the Chinese word for 'Revenge'. Using his skills at wiretapping and information-gathering, he works tirelessly through the Darkside of Sumaru, an underground rumor website and information network, to bring down the head of the New World Order, Tatsuzou Sudou. His experiences have left him bitter and cynical, which can be rough on those who might want to deal with him, but his talents cannot be denied.

Baofu's Resonance seems to carry the faint smell of the sea, old wet ropes, and a hint of ozone. The sound and feel of a cold, damp wind stirring your hair, underlain by the creak of rigging. The feeling of waiting for something, and that there are eyes upon you, watching, always watching...

Baofu himself is very skilled at detecting Resonance, though he's by no means a Spotter.
