Profile
A second-year student at Gekkoukan High, Itsuka has a reputation for being friendly, outgoing but a little shy, and really helpful to almost everybody. She's really opened up and become more involved since the start of her first year, when she was a lot more retiring and a whole lot less confident. Her cheerful nature and occasionally awkward way with the wrong words serve her pretty well at the school, though, where a lot of people say that she has all the best stories. More than that--Itsuka has grades to seriously look out for... though she says the secret is really just 'hard work' rather than any kind of talent or smarts. And, of course, word about the school is that the brilliant new transfer student Shinsuke Kusagawa is actually her twin brother--she brightly confirms it and moves the subject on when it comes up. Occasionally, though, she'll stop talking after a little while, or show that she's tired a little more often than might be normal for somebody her age. All the same, she marks a sign of a really dedicated young woman who seems resolute on bringing about a good future. ...If she can stick to it, anyway.

The Stalking List

  • Shinjiro Aragaki: AKA ~*senpai!*~. A graduate of Gekkoukan High (she knew he could do it!), and a leader of SEES. She met him once coming back from a mission, and he taught her to find her own reason to fight. Ever since, she's been his most devoted kohai, a quality that's well-known around the dorm. She's learned a lot from him during the time they've known each other. Even the foray into the television to rescue him didn't wreck their relationship, though it made her question a few things about him--and led to her thinking of him as a real person, and not just 'her senpai'. Her devotion hasn't wavered. If anything, it's increased since she confessed some of her feelings. He also seems to like her coat--but more importantly, he's started to show her more trust and respect, and she's doing her best to adapt to the way things might be in the future.
  • Mitsuru Kirijo: A graduate of Gekkoukan High, and the leader of SEES. Itsuka at first hadn't spoken to her much, aside from when she was first recruited, but a recent conversation saw a lot of her questions answered--and a lot of her thoughts changed. Itsuka remembers the things that Mitsuru's said to her, and has taken to heart a lot of that message. She really looks up to her.
  • Ran Itoh: A graduate of Gekkoukan High, and fellow member of SEES. Another of Itsuka's senpais, she met Ran while heading downstairs to handle an unfortunate guitar string-induced injury, and has looked up to her ever since. She's drawn to Ran as a 'big sister' figure, and after her rescue from the television--and Shinjiro's--her admiration and fondness for Ran has only increased.
  • Akatsuki Enda: A graduate Gekkoukan High, who saved her from the Dark Hour and brought her into SEES. He's been special to her ever since, and she even shares two clubs at her school with him. Lately, Itsuka's been spending more time around him--she's even managed to get him out on a couple of dates. (Not that they were 'official' dates or anything.) She's less worried about the dates now, but she really looks up to him--and thinks that there's more to him than he lets on. She's starting to get to know him better, at least, and is pretty glad of that--she now owes him a big favor. She doesn't mind--though she hopes to get to see his new place in Sumaru sometime.

Close Relationships Who Get To Keep A Little Privacy (Maybe)

  • Shiki Ichimonji: A fellow second-year at Gekkoukan High, and field commander of SEES. Itsuka's best friend and boyfriend, as well as co-leader of the Eclipse Squad. They originally met during a study session hosted by Akatsuki, and Shiki's stealthy observations of her later at Chagall Cafe kicked off what would become a great friendship--and later, something a little more. She calls him Shikkun, and not only does he not complain about it, he ended up asking her out the week after the typhoon and the worst weekend ever. She really, really likes him--and she's also extremely protective of him, though he's gotten his fair share of hero time by now, too. She's really opened up to him, and would be really upset to lose him. Really upset. But, she |did lose him for a while, in Mikage-cho, and she's been really, really worried, to the point of some very reckless actions. That |said, things have settled down quite a lot. They're actually pretty serious.
  • Shinsuke Kusagawa: Itsuka's twin brother, and a fellow second-year at Gekkoukan High. They were separated for a long time, but now that he's moved to Port Island, she's barely let him out of her sight. He's vitally important to her, and though they're still working out how things are going to be now, they've already shared some important words. She really loves him--and doesn't plan to lose him again.
  • Himeru Namikawa: A second-year and classmate at Gekkoukan High, and a Persona-user. Itsuka thinks of her as her best friend. Itsuka first met her outside school by chance, and though she's run into her time and again--including one Dark Hour run that she didn't bother telling SEES about--it was only in Mikage-cho that she really came to think she understands her better. Himeru is very dear to Itsuka, and she'd go a long way to see her well. An honorary Eclipse Squad member (only because she hasn't actually joined SEES), and one of the few people with the kind of sense of humor that Itsuka can engage with without creeping somebody out.
  • Thora Kobayashi: A second-year at Yasogami High. Itsuka knows that but calls her senpai anyway. Thora has helped Itsuka in a lot of dangerous situation, and taught her about the TV World. Was once on the 'Stalk' list, and will probably be there again when Itsuka gets over her reluctance to go to Inaba again. Itsuka considers her just as good as a member of Team Eclipse, especially with her increasing ties to SEES, and though she's heard a few new things about her, Itsuka secretly doesn't hold what secrets she knows against her, including that whole KNOWS thing because, well, really.
  • Hinata Itoh: A second-year at Gekkoukan High, and fellow member of SEES. Also one of the first people Itsuka met in SEES. Itsuka has been getting to know her better, and after a long, hard sequence of events in Mikage-cho, Itsuka finally confessed her hidden troubles to her teammate. Hinata is one of the most important people to Itsuka right now, and is one of her best sources of strength. Things might get awkward sometimes, but that's okay, right? An honorary member of the Eclipse Squad.
  • Minako Arisato: A third-year at Gekkoukan High, and a fellow member of SEES. She met Minako in Mikage-cho, and may or may not have actually died trying to help save her from a terrible demon named Alice. The other girl's cheerul nature quickly won Itsuka over, and though they don't always get much time to talk, she really likes her! Especially since she seems not to be the type to try to steal Shiki. It was briefly (briefly) a concern.
  • Nagisa Renge: A girl Itsuka met during the Dark Hour, out at the shrine in Port Island. They watched the blood snow together, and talked about a lot of things. Itsuka feels like Nagisa really understands a lot of how she thinks, and though she's not always sure how to react to Nagisa's honesty, she thinks she likes it. Unfortunately, Nagisa is a member of Strega... but that doesn't mean they can't be friends. Right?
  • Aigis: A robot at Gekkoukan High. Fellow member of SEES. Itsuka doesn't know her very well, but considers her a good friend. Itsuka once lent her a Lovecraft book, and planned to have a scary movie night with her, too! Aigis is pretty much the best robot a girl could hope for. All jokes and stories shared aside, Itsuka really likes her, and thinks of her as someone she can rely on.
  • Yoshiro Yoshino: A fellow second-year at Gekkoukan High, and a recent addition to SEES. He's the third member of the Eclipse Squad, and though he seems a little reluctant, Itsuka is always happy to drag him into what they're doing. Often, whether he likes it or not. She's at least tried to think more of his feelings, but this has had mixed results.

Enemies

  • Kyrie: As far as Itsuka knows, he's Souji Seta's Shadow, and she really, really, really doesn't like him. She feels pretty terrible just thinking about him, in fact. He's the worst.

Other Relationships

  • Shiori Hibiki: A second-year at Gekkoukan High, and a former member of SEES. Itsuka doesn't know her very well, but Shiori was one of her first friends in SEES. When Itsuka went into the TV World to save her, she was fairly badly affected by what her Shadow said, but they talked and she might've gotten over it. They've grown fairly distant since Shiori went to take up with the KDA.
  • Tohru Adachi: A detective with the Inaba PD, who works as a bit of a liason to SEES under-the-table. Itsuka really dislikes him, but makes a big show of being nice and concerned for him in public. She gets along with him pretty well, now that they've reached a bit of an understanding. Secretly, she's becoming friends with him on the Internet. She doesn't know this. Now that she's gone through Shinjiro's dungeon, she's come to really admire Adachi as a great guy who cares a lot more than he lets on.
  • Yuuka Chiba: A third-year at Gekkoukan High, and a fellow member of SEES. Itsuka really dislikes her, and takes a number of opportunities to be subtly mean. So far, though, she's kept her feelings on Yuuka secret. ...It's been long enough, though, that Itsuka has secretly stopped caring about the grudge. Perhaps she'll get to know her better.
  • Yosuke Hanamura: A third-year at Yasogami High, and member of the KDA. She thinks used to think he might be a super-hero, and that's really weird still weird, but kind of cool. He was also mean to her once, in Inaba. She hasn't forgotten. He was pretty cool in the SEBEC raid, but he also hates Argilla Berry. A tough one.
  • Hideo Aratami: A second-year at Kasugayama High. Itsuka met him when he was spying outside the SEES Dorm. Since then, they've been on two dates! Not that he seemed to realize that that's what it was. All that changed, however, after he went into the TV in Sumaru in a chain of events that's a secret. Now, she doesn't feel a shred of positive emotion for him, and is willing to let whatever he's decided to do with his life go on without her. Consider this social link reversed really hard. ...Of course, he's still significant in a negative way. She still cares about him, and had a big fight with him in the Dark Hour. She still hasn't told anyone but Shiki, but she hasn't given up on him yet. What she'll do now, though, is a secret. She does feel responsible for what's happened to him, though... So it's complicated.
  • Minato Arisato: A third-year at Gekkoukan High, and a leader in SEES. Itsuka finds that he makes a mean bowl of soup, and seems like a pretty cool guy. She used to be mad at him over the Gauntlet, but after getting just a glimpse of an awful feeling that may have been from him in the Subway down in Mikage-cho, she's instead of the opinion that he probably just doesn't like her. She isn't as sure of this anymore, but after matters in the Abyss of Time, she's not really as worried about it.
  • Kanon Itoh: Oldest Itoh sister (probably). Itsuka doesn't talk to her often, but from the first time they met she thought Kanon was quite possibly the coolest person ever to exist.
  • Miwa Saitou: A senior at Seven Sisters High. Itsuka first met her while investigating an arson in the Konan Ward of Sumaru City, where she drew her Evoker and Miwa talked her down from an apparent suicide. (It wasn't, but oops.) Since then, they've met a few more times, and events have made Miwa fairly important to her. She feels that she has a lot in common with the older girl, and wants to get to know her better. Now, though, they're secretly internet friends.
  • Tatsuya Suou: A senior at Seven Sisters High, and quite possibly one of the coolest boys ever to exist. Itsuka doesn't know him very well, but she's met him a couple of times now, and thinks he's really impressive. He may move up a category sometime.
  • Maki Sonomura: A mysterious girl that Itsuka doesn't really understand, Itsuka believes that someone related to her is the girl Shiki promised to help. She's committed herself to helping her, too, even though she's never met the 'real' Maki. Probably. Except on the Internet. Maki helped find her brother! Kind of.
