Akari's eyes are green and her hair is a platinum blue. In the sunlight it even appears almost white.

She is pretty short and even though she is fifteen, she appears a couple years younger than that to most. It doesn't help that she acts a lot younger too.

Akari has a lot of different cosplay outfits but she doesn't always dress in it, especially if it's during the school year. She does wear it enough that she is well-known for it... at least with certain crowds.

She has a massive manga collection and that is always a good topic for conversation.

Akari loves sweets but beware the consequences if you give her too much of it! Actually... even if you only give her a little!

She also collects a lot of stuff like colorful rocks, shells, flowers and such.

Akari has her own demon named Belphegor. He is a lazy but dutifully protects her and watches over her most of the time. Unless some other very 'special' arrangements have been made.

In Persian mythology, peris (Pairika), are descended from fallen angels who have been denied paradise until they have done penance. In earlier sources they are described as agents of evil; later, they are benevolent. They are exquisite, winged, fairy-like creatures ranking between angels and evil spirits.

Pairika's abilities are mostly wind-based as it uses it's massive over-sized wings to it's advantage.

Belphegor is a demon that was given to her by King Leo to watch over and protect her. Despite being a lazy, he also helps her in combat and he is summoned in the same way as Pairika is. Akari talks to him much as a person talks to their best friend. Her nickname for him is 'Bel' or 'Bel-chan.' Only those within the Masquerade or those who have fought with her in combat (in some cases) know that he is more than just another persona.

Belphegor is a demon of Sloth, one of the 7 Deadly Sins. His name is a corruption of Baal-Peor, the name for the god of the Moabites. Belphegor gives people ideas for inventions that will make them rich and thus greedy and selfish. He is a monstrous demon with horns. Some claim that he must be worshiped on a toilet.

Minako Arisato: A new friend that Akari met at the manga store in Sumaru one day. She seems like a really fun person to be around. Akari plans on visiting Port Island soon to see her again and hang out. She also didn't make fun of Akari's cat suit.

Yuuka Chiba: Akari was hurt by Yuuka in their last encounter and she harbors a lot of resentment about it. Luckily, Akari hasn't seen her in a long time. Perhaps she moved far away?

III - THE EMPRESS:
Mitsuru Kirijo: Akari met Mitsuru through Seiichi. She doesn't really know what to think but Mitsuru seemed nice at their first two meetings.

IV - THE EMPEROR:
Akatsuki Enda: Twin brother of Kyo that Akari first met in Kyo's TV Dungeon. She doesn't really know much about him but from what she saw in the TV, Akari doesn't really think that he's much better than Kyo. Well, aside from the fact that he hasn't actually tried to kill her.

V - THE HIEROPHANT:
Shinjiro Aragaki: Due to her affiliation with Seiichi, Akari has seen Shinjiro a few times now. At one of their first meetings, she divulged that she was involved in the Masquerade and accidentally exposed Seiichi's involvement as well. Most recently, they ran into each other in Dark Hour because Akari, being the naive type that she is, was going to explore Tartarus on her own. However, even though he wanted to take her away from there at first, he caved and took her to see the inside. Most of the shadows, to her great disappointment, ran away from them but she was still pretty happy to see the inside of the huge tower finally.

Anise Thompson: Akari adores Anise and thinks she is the best big sister ever. She lets her do things that others wouldn't, including going to her apartment and teaching her how to cook meatloaf and play card games. She also has a really cool sister. Unfortunately, Akari hasn't seen Anise in a long time...

XI - STRENGTH:
Enoha Koinose: They seem to be running into each other a lot lately. Akari doesn't really mind her but she doesn't really know her yet either. She protected her in battle, even if the younger girl felt she didn't need it. She also was the only other one that didn't attack the adorable Jack Frosts and kind of helped her to befriend one named Bobby. After visiting Enoha's bookstore, Akari isn't really sure if she can trust the older girl. She seems to mean well but the fact that she questioned her involvement in the NWO concerned her.

Masahiko Irie: Akari first ran into him as Ixquic on a Masquerade mission. She developed a strong dislike for him, especially since he hurt Seiichi. He also protected Yuuka which makes her dislike him even more. As time passed, Akari seemed to forget about their nasty encounter. She has started talking to him again and due to their most recent conversation, Masahiko became vaguely aware of her involvement in the supernatural.

Thora Kobayashi: Akari first met Thora when she was working with Kandori. However, she never really talked to her until after things went bad between her and the NWO. Despite Thora probably hating the younger girl simply by association Akari doesn't really hate her. Thora helped her, Seiichi and Mai attack Kyo so at least they both share a strong dislike for Kyo. Akari recently found a tiny Shiba Inu puppy which she promptly decided to give to Thora. She was pretty surprised that Thora wasn't at Kyo's dungeon. Though it's probably for the best...

XIII - DEATH:

Seiichi Miyamoto: Akari first met Seiichi when he was a new recruit to the NWO. Over time they developed and strong bond, similar to the brother/sister relationship that she shares with Leo. However, things became a little more confusing for Akari when Seiichi decided that he was going to leave the Masquerade. Shortly after this Akari decided to run away due to being very lost and confused. However, after he found her she stayed with him until the police found her. She returned home briefly and still kept in close contact with Seiichi. After finding out that Leo and Seiichi had fought, Akari knew that she was going to have to pick a side. Right now though she is still very emotionally attached to both of them, even going so far as to follow Seiichi into Kyo's dungeon, purely out of concern for his safety. As long as Seiichi and Leo tolerate each other Akari is okay but ultimately she feels that there will be a day when she has to choose a side.

XIV- TEMPERANCE:
Miwa Saitou: Akari met her briefly the same night she met Kyo. Miwa seemed nice enough and didn't seem to mind that she was in cosplay. After finding out that Miwa was dating Kyo, Akari felt bad for her and at their most recent meeting she found out that they weren't actually dating anymore. Akari expressed her concerns at not knowing where Kyo was and asked Miwa if she knew. Unfortunately, the older girl didn't divulge anything to her. Unfortunately, Miwa went into the TV once she knew that was where Kyo was and, knowing that Seiichi would follow her in, Akari ended up there as well. They ended up having to fight Miwa and Kyo's shadow and Akari, despite showing great concern for the girl after the ordeal, is actually pretty angry at her right now. Mostly because her reasoning is that if Miwa didn't go into the TV then Seiichi wouldn't have.

Naomi Suzuno: Akari has seen the girl a handful of times in Sumaru but only recently found out her name. She was pretty impressed with Naomi's actions towards Kyo's shadow in the TV World though. Perhaps one day they will run across each other again...

Mai Namikawa: Akari only recently found out Mai's name after they fought against Kyo. Then she came across the girl again in Kyo's dungeon. Only knows her vaguely for now...

Takahisa Kandori: He was the leader of the NWO and worked with Tatsuya Sudou. Akari didn't know him extremely well and since he was killed recently it seems like she never will...

Fumiko Kohaku: A girl who is only a little older than herself and is in the NWO. Akari hasn't seen the girl much lately and only knows that she liked gardening and was an experiment of Kandori's supposedly.

Toui Shirazuna: A doctor in the NWO. Akari doesn't know much about him yet but at their first meeting she gave him a flower.

XIX -THE SUN:

Kyo Enda: (Reverse) After their first meeting Akari didn't know what to think about Kyo. He seemed pretty angry when they met though and Seiichi seemed to think that he was dangerous, even going so far as to warn her against contact with him alone. One evening, shortly after the supernova, Akari found herself face-to-face with Kyo again. This time he attacked her without much warning saying that he wanted to send Seiichi a message. It did not end well for Akari. She hates Kyo and expected retaliation against him from Seiichi and Leo and was not disappointed. After her last encounter with him, Seiichi and Thora, Akari was concerned that he may try and find her again. After a talk with Seiichi, Akari found out exactly where Kyo disappeared to and by a horrible twist of events, the young girl ended up in Kyo's dungeon. She saw things in his dungeon that she wished she hadn't and that still give her nightmares. She also hates that for a fleeting moment or two things that were shown in the TV made her actually feel sorry for him. :(( Akari is glad though that Shadow Kyo didn't try and see how tasty she was.

Tatsuya Sudou: Akari met Leo when she was 12, after manifesting her Persona in front of him, he took her under his wing and taught her everything about personas. He also gave her the two-handed golden-sword that she uses now as well as giving her the fallen angel, Belphegor to watch over her. She considers him to be her older brother and she is basically his minion. Akari has run into complications lately with certain relationships due to her affiliation with him and the Masquerade but ultimately she doesn't seem to care what people think. She is pretty sure that Leo is mad at her right now about certain things but hopes it will be fixed soon... :((
