SEES
On the surface, the Specialized Extracurricular Execution Squad (or SEES) is an extracurricular club made up mainly of students of Gekkokan High School. Members are drawn from all grades, and the majority seem to also be residents of a particular dormitory owned by the Kirijo group, the very dorm where the Kirijo heir Mitsuru resides. Rumours suggest the club is just a social club, a way for some of the dorm's activities to be sponsored by the school, allowing the members to go on summer trips and holidays together.
The truth, however, is that the core members of SEES are a group of young high-school students, most of them Persona users, who have banded together for mutual protection and support. SEES operates out of Port Island, and their purpose is to discover the nature of Shadows and destroy them, thus removing their influence from the world. Backed by the impressive resources of the Kirijo Group and organized by the sympathetic Chairman of the Gekkokan school board, the group works together to try to get to the bottom of the mystery of the Shadows...and of their own Personae.
Who Can Join?
Persona users (or, rarely, vanilla humans) who seek to fight the influence of the Shadows, and who make their home in Port Island or its environs. A SEES member must be conscious of or able to operate within the Dark Hour, as many of SEES' operations focus on the nearby tower of Tarrtarus. A preference is generally given to students of Gekkokan High, although on rare occasions membership has been extended to younger or older people. Or, uh, dogs.
Facheads
Mitsuru Kirijo (Empress): The daughter of the current head of the Kirijo Group. She is in her first year at Fra Mauro. One of the first observed Persona users.
Shinjiro Aragaki (Hierophant): A returned member of SEES, Shinjiro is one of the most experienced and toughest Persona users on the street - if he says something bad's coming down, people start heading for cover. Nominally a graduate of Gekkokan High, and attracts inexplicable flocks of impressionable teenagers.
