Important Events (SEES)

SEES has experienced a great number of world changing events since its first inception. This is a list of some of the major ones that affected the Five Cities as a whole and SEES's role in those events.

Snow Queen

Details on the entity known as the Snow Queen are scarce, however it is assumed that a good portion of her power was found in her mask. Tomomi Fujimori of Strega fought with members of SEES over the mask and resulted in the mask being broken in half. The SEES half of the mask went to the Kirijo Labs for study and safekeeping while Strega maintained their half of the mask. Strega broke into the Kirijo Laboratory in Mid-July of 2010 and managed to recover the other half of the mask during transport. Strega Cultists managed to break into the labs. This is, presumably, how Strega was able to locate and take the mask in the first place. The mask is currently in the hands of an individual who is using the powers to create chaos, largely in Lunarvale.

Phaeton

The NWO managed to obtain notes and develop an Aigis-like robot named Phaeton. Unlike Aigis, the finished product was neither perfect nor complete. However, the NWO was able to use Phaeton as a vessel to contain the Arcana Shadow, Chariot. During combat between SEES and Chariot, Minagi Shimizu literally consumed the Shadow and thus becoming Shadow Possessed in the process. Chariot was eventually removed from Minagi Shimazu and ultimately destroyed in Tartarus.

Dr. Ohki, the creator of Phaeton was later found dead on the TV lines of Inaba. It is assumed that he went through the Inaba Midnight Channel and was not rescued, thus resulting in being found in this manner. Itsuka Mizuhara identified the body for Inaba PD and later brought Phaeton's body to the Kirijo Labs where he is currently residing, deactivated.

Lib

A mysterious street drug that appeared a little bit over a year ago and related to the Phaeton incident. Phaeton was selling the drug prior to his defeat. It is a psychotropic drug much like Phencyclidine (commonly known as PCP) with the added affect that it makes Shadow possession for those who are not Persona users nor Shadow possessed more susceptible to possession. For those who have Personae or Shadows, it will temporarily make their Persona or Shadow stronger, however it is hypothesized that it would make the being also harder to control and may even convert a Persona into a Shadow. A few SEES members have taken the drug in the past.

Mikage-cho

The Demon City. Lunarvale's Other Side. Mikage-cho appeared in November of 2009 and transported a number of individuals who were in Lunarvale at the time of its appearance to the Demon City and trapped them there for roughly two weeks. A few SEES members were trapped along with other individuals. The cause of Mikage-cho's appearance is believed to be related to the SEBEC created DVA device. SEES Member Shiki Ichimonji was briefly attached to the DVA device before individuals were returned to the real world. It is still possible to enter the Mikage-Cho, either through randomly located openings in the Industrial area of Lunarvale or through Karma Palace. Karma Palace is currently under the control of Strega. There have been recent raids into Karma Palace in attempts to weaken Strega's hold.

The Abyss of Time

On January 1st 2010, a new door in Tartarus opened up. Unlike previous floors, this one opened to the basement.
