Profile
A second-year student at Yasogami High, Masumi is a known as a passive teen with a deep love for the subtle and dislike for the direct and overt. He approaches life with a soft and delicate touch which is not traditionally associated with masculinity, but a quiet confidence and refined poise beyond his years make him seem alluring rather than strange, while a natural intuition allows him to move easily and freely among most circles. Masumi is entranced by the beauty and allure of the unknown but easily bored by the mundane world, which in turn fuels his diligent study of the supernatural and the truth behind it. His search for answers has led him to the seedy world of Darkside, and recently he has begun to gain a reputation as an information trader and network contact.

- 10-27-2009: Ice Cream Not-So-Social - Masumi gets icecream before work, encounters a recent acquaintance and makes a new one. Then everything gets crazy. Or maybe it always was!
- 10-27-2009: Hunter of the Dark - Later that night, Masumi is given a violent crash-course into the nature of the Shadow-possessed. He almost mounts an effective defense. Almost.
- 10-28-2009: A Helping Hand Up - One Megumi Mushikabe goes out of her way to save Masumi from the gutter the following morning, and see him to the hospital.
- 10-29-2009: Halloween Masquerade Ball - Masumi shows up as Princess Zelda, and puts on a very convincing female masquerade. He finds it incites emotions intense, foreign, and altogether alluring.
- 10-30-2009: Riverside Poker - Naoto Shirogane stops to ask Masumi for directions, who in turn senses that there's something deeper going on. He tries to fish for information.
- 10-30-2009: Riverside Chat - Later that day, Masumi meets Blaise Cameron for the first time as the latter jogs next to the river. The conversation ends on a down note, but they seem to get along rather well.
- 10-31-2009: The Rabbit Hole Opens - He was just in Lunarvale to buy some clothes, that's all. But the DVA hardly cares, and Masumi is drawn into the dimensional disturbance known as Mikage-Cho.
