 Mikage-cho W - St. Hermelin??? -
St. Hermelin, on the surface, is identical in Mikage-cho. This notion would be discarded somewhere along
the way of witnessing people not being quite what they were! Between the feared Dean Harding becoming a caring
individual and a popular educator turning into a mute - among other things - it's not long until any sense of
familiarity goes to the wayside.
The school appears as it was in the 2008 school year. The old gymnasium hasn't been expanded as it was
early in 2009, and there's no hole in the wall. Most of the classrooms do not even see use, the school
population notably smaller. The library has undergone the most peculiar change - a foreboding black doorway
sits near the back, the whole room coated in butterfly markings. Nobody is sure as to its purpose, or even
how to open it. A loud heartbeat can be heard if you stand close to it.
People here live in fear of a girl in black, whose influence sometimes rearranges the school into a
twisted set of corridors and dead-ends full of demons. Even a trip to the bathroom, in the best of times,
can spell disaster.

There are various students in St. Hermelin High, but to anyone who's been going there for a while, it seems kind of... odd. Outdated, perhaps. The girl with the headphones seems barely to notice, though since she woke up earlier today and concluded that her friends are playing a prank on her--for someone who has not actually /left/ the school and hasn't run into any demons, it's a somewhat reasonable conclusion to come to--it may be somewhat understandable.

She is, however, at a loss for the moment. Her classmates--the ones she *has* run into--talked about some girl who's terrorizing the school, which means this is more elaborate than she thought. She's also figured out that it's her birthday (she's not entirely sure how she lost a day, *that* she'll admit is weird), so she figures it's pretty much that, but how to proceed from here...? She sits on the stairs not far from the school entrance, listening to her headphones and humming along to her music, the broom she's been carrying around crooked under an arm and leaning on her shoulder.

/I'm not afraid of being hurt, but I'm hardly strong, either
I just don't want to regret having done nothing/

Minagi, after her FACE PUNCHING fun time with the Toy Soldier, litterally...punching the face of the robot whatever it was. She had fallen asleep soon after, completely exhausted by the what kinda nightmare the city had turned into...by the fact that the person she came to this city with had been seperated from, and the fact that this city had nothing but DEMONS in it. Well, some humans, but a lot of demons that want things...terrible things.

And sometimes easily impressed with the horror stories she could tell.

She had come to the school to try and search for Blaise now, walking slowly towards the school and looking at the girl on the stairs. She didn't come with anyone, figuring that half of the group outright either hated him, thought he wouldn't be of any use, or both. Why they didn't think that way of her was beyond her, it wasn't like she had a brain god either...

A fuzzy image of punching the robot in the face.

"Oh yeah..." She says, as if getting it. She looked towards A-Ko... "Hey, have you seen a..." Minagi pauses for a moment... "Guy, guy faced guy..."

Minagi Shimizu
Standing a little over five feet tall, this young woman is what one would consider frail. Her body is
very small, still obviously under developed and of course, still growing. Womanhood seems to becoming for
this young woman, but besides the small body shape and size, her arms and legs on the other hand seem very
well tone, giving the woman a more athletic view as one takes a better look at her. Her face is a young one,
typically looking at the world and those in it with a cat like curosity. One might call the entire manorisms
and how the girl holds herself as cat-like.
Her face is small, much like the rest of her, with short black hair, and braids hanging down the front
of her face. Hey eyes are yellow, not unlike a cat's in appearance, as they seem to watch everything around
her. While this does give her a slight odd appearance, it is a long way from outright creepy.
       Though so very strange...

It isn't Minagi hailing her that gets Headphone Girl's attention; it's the sudden feeling of a shadow falling over her, that subtle sense of sunlight getting blocked. The girl opens her eyes and blinks up at her, then removes her headphones, dropping them around her neck. "Huh? Sorry?" she asks. "Were you talking to me?"

...she may not be all that helpful. She does, however, seem curious. Minagi not only looks way too young for high school (though honestly, you never know, and the possibility is not banished from her mind), but she's not wearing the local school uniform. She wonders what the strange girl wants, though at least Minagi now has her attention.

"Hey sorry, didn't mean to interupt you...I was looking for someone." Minagi says, frowning a little. "I am looking for someone, goes by Blaise? We got seperated when all of the crazy stuff started happening? Also, you know, with all the demons running around town." She says, pointing over her shoulder to the city.

Minagi's outfit was actually a yellow sundress, one that was...a little tattered with her run in's with various demons, and her fight with the Toy robot yesterday.

Crazy stuff? Demons? The headphones girl stares at her a moment, then smiles with a slight "oh" gesture. Ohohoho. Right. /Demons/. She gets it. She gives a little shrug and shakes her head, though. She hasn't even left the school to check out the 'demon town' (though that sounds like it could be kind of fun, finding the zipper at the back of the monster like that! She wonders which of her friends put this kid up to this), and she's never even heard of a guy named Blaise.

The tattered dress is a nice touch, though, and the girl looks it over with mild amusement.

Minagi stares at the girl for a moment.

Minagi, thinking that headphone girl is just slow, speaks slower. "I...am...trying...to...find...someone...named...Blaise. Trying...to...avoid...crazy...town...searching. Have...you...seen...him?" She says, very purposely, and slowly.

Nevermind that Minagi is probably younger than this girl.

Headphone girl stares back at Minagi. She shook her head no, what more does she want? However, she takes pity on her. Poor girl must be a little slow, the way she's repeating herself like that extra-slowly. Or maybe that's just the role she's playing or something. She's not a very good actress if so.

"No," she says simply. And, to be kind, she adds, "Who's he?"

Minagi sighed...well, this was unhelpful, of course, she didn't seem very smart, so maybe she just wasn't paying attention...it might be a good song.

"Uh...he's.." Minagi thought of the right words here... "A very good friend?" She will deck the first person that says boyfriend, reguardless of what he actually is, as she kinda had an embarrased look on her face.

"If you are right...then he's out there in demonville. Great...just great. It's like working for Guido all over again, except I don't get paid."

Minagi is so not one to talk about not being very smart!

Headphones girl grins at her, though, when Minagi describes Blaise as a 'very good friend' while looking all embarrassed about it. That sparkle in her ruddy eyes may betray a sign that she's not fooled at all by the way Minagi hedges, though at least for the sake of Minagi's pride she doesn't tease her about it.

She does, however, get up to her feet and pat her on the shoulder, though this is more because of that stuff that Minagi's complaining about. Honestly, she has no idea what the girl's talking about, but she may as well play along.

"Part-time job?" she ventures. Well, Minagi *does* look pretty young...

"Uh...you can say that.." Minagi says, not wanting to get into the whole shadow possessed thing with a girl she hardly knows. Minagi shakes her head, and looks around her...not exactly sure why this girl was acting like she was telling a tall tale or something. Whatever, deny reality enough and all...

"What about a guy named Minato? He's a good friend of mine, and I heard he was in this place too?" She says.

Headphones girl probably wouldn't believe her, anyway--or more accuratedly, she'd think it was all part of the joke and pretend to believe her while laughing about it, which wouldn't really be much better. Most normal people are not going to believe in something that outlandish, after all! And considering she only woke up *today* and hasn't been outside, her world is still pretty "normal," if one in the throes of a very complicated prank. It's funny to her, rather than annoying, so she's in good spirits.

Those spirits drain away when Minagi goes on to ask her about someone named 'Minato.' The girl actually *flinches* at that, before pulling herself together. Minato... No, it's just a name. She doesn't think she... has any classmates by that name, but...

"Sorry, no," she murmurs, braving an apologetic smile. "What year's he in?"

Minagi wasn't unable to sense something happened by this...? Maybe she knew someone named Minato too, it's a big world, and hard to say that her Minato is the only Minato every to Minato.

There is only ONE god of Pimps, however.

Minagi thought about this for a moment, "First year, actually. He's...a really good friend of mine, he helped me a lot when I was in a very bad place...He also helped me recover from that time..." She says, and shrug, "I haven't seen him sense this all went down, I am more than a little worried for him...and Blaise." She says, sighing.

A second-year... So whoever her friend is, he'd be the same age as her. The headphones girl looks momentarily downcast, before shaking the emotion away. She adjusts the broom in her arm to crook it against the stairway as a sort of staff to lean against. This does not work very well, as broom bristles are not really meant for leaning on, and she straightens quickly thereafter. Music is still playing out of her headphones, and as an afterthought, she finally gets around to pressing the pause button, since it seems like this is more serious now. She figures at this point the girl's out of her play-acting and now *actually is* looking for people named Blaise and Minato. Why exactly she thinks that, she hasn't thought too deeply on.

The St. Hermelin second-year nods, though, sympathetically. Yeah, she doesn't have a classmate named Minato, as far as she knows... And yes, she is assuming that Minagi means "Minato" is a second-year at *this* school! It's a lot of assumptions, but it just doesn't occur to her to think any other way. "I hope you find them," she says kindly. "I'll try to look out for them, too."

...it also doesn't occur to her to ask what they look like. They're probably local students, she'll figure it out if she just asks around!

Minagi nods...

"Well thanks...it makes my job a lot less crazy...uh do you want my cell number in case you find them?" Minagi says, "At least we can still call to each other, in the city!" It was a slight better thought than not being able to call at all, like in the dark hour. "Uh...do you wana know what they look like too? I mean, it's not like you know what they look like from name alone."

Minagi nods, "Well Blaise has black hair, bangs...he's an american..."

"Sure!" headphones girl replies, smile turning friendlier when Minagi asks for her cell number. She digs in her pocket and pulls out her phone, flipping it open with unthinking ease. She nods at the second part as well, to the offer to describe her friends for her benefit. It'll probably make it easier to track them down, she figures as she pulls up her number. Once it's on the screen, she turns the phone around for Minagi to see, holding it slightly out so Minagi can put her number in in turn if she so desires.

"Uh huh?" the second-year prompts Minagi. American... Well, if there's going to be American students in Japan, probably a lot of them are going to be right here! Black-haired American, check. And what about the other guy...?

Minagi nods, giving A-ko her cell number in return for hers.

"Minato is a blue haired boy, short, kinda wimpy looking. He ususally has earphones on, like you, and hands in his pocket. Sometimes he doesn't pay attention...and he's a bit quite, but he's really nice." is it odd that she had more of a description for Minato than her suposed boyfriend?

Naaaaah.

"If you find them tell them we are at Captain Rebellion's."

Phone numbers exchanged, the headphones girl tucks her phone back into her pocket and gives her a grin. This grin fades as if swirling down a drain when Minagi actually describes Minato in quite a lot of detail, and, yes, she very much notices that there's more detail there than for her other 'very good friend.' She barely even notices the part about Captain Rebellion's, because that description... There's no mistaking it now, and suddenly this prank has become extremely unfunny.

"What did you say?" she asks quietly, hands curling into fists as her eyes harden. What's she getting so mad about all of a sudden...? "Say that again."

Minagi...just kinda recoils.

"Uh...?" Minagi says, cocking a head to the side. "He is a blue haired boy, short, kinda wimpy looking. He ususally has earphones on, like you, and hands in his pockets. SOmetimes he doesn't pay a lot of attention, and he's really quiet. He's really nice." She continues. "If you find him tell them we are at Captain Rebellion's!" Minagi says again, hopefully she just needs to be cheerful.

"Did you get all that? I know it's kinda weird for me to just ask a total stranger, but...you seem nice." if not a bit slow. "You ok?"

When Minagi repeats the description like it's no big deal, Headphones Girl bows her head slightly, arms trembling, as her bangs shade her eyes from view. She just... says all that... and she doesn't even... Minagi asks her if she's OK, and she snaps her head up, infuriated eyes brimming with tears.

And then she slaps her.

It's not as hard as it could be, but it's at least going to be enough to sting. "Who the hell put you up to this?!" she shouts, grabbing her broom again. She doesn't *quite* wield it like she intends on hitting Minagi with it, but wow, what the heck got her so upset? "Even for a prank, that's going way too far!!"

Minagi's head moves slightly...

The slap should move her a bit more than that...worse, she hardly looked phased, more shocked by the shouting and suddenly turning of events. Slowly, she turns, facing A-Ko again, raising an eyebrow.

"The...? This is no joke, girl, I've known this man for over a year, He's saved me litterally from myself...and I would watch how you weild that broom.." She says, narrowing her eyes. More animal instincts are welling up inside of her, her own fists clenching. Her voice lowering to a near growl.

"You said you don't even know him, so why are you getting so upset?! Or do you think everything I have said is a joke? Take a look outside! This city litterally has gone to hell!" she fights the urge to drop into a stance...

Headphones girl is outright *crying* now, hot tears streaking down her cheeks like shooting stars. "You--" she begins, cutting herself off. She thought that this girl was maybe just put up to this prank, that she didn't really understand what it was she was saying, but at this point, it really doesn't matter anymore to her. Known him a year...?! The city's gone--

--gone to hell--

That's--that's just--!!

She shakes her head violently, spinning around. "Forget it! Just... forget it!" she yells, before running up the stairs, swiping an arm across her face. She's going to need a while to calm down, but when she does, and she tracks down the people who're behind this, their ass is /grass/. This goes way beyond a prank; that's just cruel!!

"W-what?" Minagi says, now really put off guard. The anger stolen from her as the girl gets upset and starts to leave.

She could just leave it alone, but this...

She was pretty sure this WASN'T a counter prank....then again, anything was possible in this world, though she has no idea what is even going on at this point. She moves to try and make chase.

"H-hey! Wait! Why are you so upset?! I didn't slap you or anything!" Minagi says, not really aware of what might she have said to invoke such a reaction! "I am serious about what I said here!"

Who knows what's going on? Headphones girl at least has her own ideas of what's going on, and so much the better for her sanity--but what Minagi said... It's made the worse when, in her view, the black-haired girl tries to beat an already bad joke further into the ground with a sledgehammer. She whirls around to glare traffic spikes at Minagi.

Then she picks up her headphones, very deliberately fits them back over her ears, turns up the volume, and whirls around to stalk away again.

You can't say 'go /away/ already' much more clearly than that.

Minagi now really doesn't know what to think.

Without answers, without communications, Minagi can only scratch her head...maybe she knew Minato outside of the barrier? However, the sounds of shutting her off from the outside just kinda confuse Minagi, who is used to handling most of her problems head on.

"Guess I won't be getting any answers from her, I hate this place." Minagi says, with a mutter and turns back down the stairs, and perhaps back towards Captain Rebellions bunker. Well, maybe she won't have to fight a horde of demons this time to get there, or maybe could get back in between hordes.
