NPC List
Contents |
This page is intended to be a community repository for NPCs. NPCs tied to player-run TPs and personal NPCs that players are willing to allow other players to use ought to be listed here. If you need help adding your NPCs to the below tables or don't understand how the cells work, just ask! Most of the staff and a lot of players have wiki proficiency and would be happy to help.
Antagonistic NPCs
Villainous NPCs go here!

NPC Name Here | Add a (short) description of the NPC here. (Please leave these Row 1 cells as examples, and add additional cells below in alphabetical order). | Put your own name here, so people know whom to contact! |
Nanae Marei | Promoted-to-leader of the Shin Touitsukyou, a cult which sought to bring an altogether horrific god into our reality. Currently in prison on a number of charges, including 'murder', 'conspiracy to murder', and 'bribery'. | Trish or TP Staff |
Black Count | A demon lord ruling a whole city of demons far in the depths of the Inaba mines. His name remains mysterious. While he is willing to parlay with outsiders and is a font of information for those who use him, he demands equivalent or better in the way of gifts and sacrifices. He also cannot be said to be possessed of any kind of benevolent designs on humanity. | TP Staff |
Red Count | A demon lord holding sway over the demons of Sumaru City. Not much is known about him, much less his true identity. He seems fairly unwilling to negotiate with humans, though is quite interested in them... or at least, what makes them 'work'. He has been known to employ demonic hunters to retrieve him intriguing specimens. | TP Staff |
Civic NPCs
NPCs officially associated with municipal functions or support roles (police, merchants, etc.) go here.
Name | Description | Contributor |
NPC Name Here | Add a (short) description of the NPC here. (Please leave these Row 1 cells as examples, and add additional cells below in alphabetical order). | Put your own name here, so people know whom to contact! |
Chief Togashi | The chief of the Konan Ward department of the Sumaru Police. He's known for being firm yet understanding, and an honorable man. What most people don't know, though, is that he answers to others. | TP Staff |
Shiraishi Lady | The owner of a ramen cafe, though her fare is somewhat odd (banana ramen, for example). Rumor has it, she used to be a spy, and as a result, she supposedly has a great cache of weapons that she will sell to people. She also excels at finding people and works part time as a manhunter, or so they say. | TP Staff |
The Master of Parabellum | The bartender of Parabellum, located in Aoba Drive. He has a fondness for firearms and other weaponry, and can be persuaded to part with pieces of his collection for a price. | TP Staff |
The Satomi Sisters | Six sisters who all look alike. Very creepily alike. They run various branches of Satomi Tadashi, a popular convenience store. Each store features its own version of the (obnoxiously catchy) Satomi Tadashi theme song. | TP Staff |
Master Daidara | Blacksmith and creator of replica weaponry in Inaba. His works are renowned across Japan. Some of it is rather similar to real weaponry... | TP Staff |
Civilian NPCs
NPCs who are just regular civilians of some stripe go here
Name | Description | Contributor |
NPC Name Here | Add a (short) description of the NPC here. (Please leave these Row 1 cells as examples, and add additional cells below in alphabetical order). | Put your own name here, so people know whom to contact! |
Kazuyoshi Abe | Archaeology graduate student with a focus on linguistics. The now-deceased Shigehito Mishima, director of the Lunarvale Historical Society, was his mentor. He's had some taste of the weird stuff and, wary now, has been keeping an eye on things in Lunarvale. If people want to talk shop about history, archaeology, or linguistics, he's probably their man. | Trish |
Osamu Ishizaka, Ikue Ishizaka | Elderly couple that runs the Yomenaido bookstore in Inaba. Osamu is a grouchy, private man with a love for the works of Lewis Carroll, while Ikue is doting and kind with a love for tea, but she's a relentless gossip. Both Ishizakas run the store, but as Osamu has a bad back and Ikue has arthritis, a third employee helps fill in, as well as do the more physically strenuous jobs. | Enoha Koinose |
Maya Okamura | Former history teacher at Seven Sisters High. A firm believer in secret histories and the kind of person who would wear a tinfoil hat. After giving herself up to Maya aliens to be sacrificed (and almost succeeding at this), she has been spending her time in a mental health retreat. | TP Staff |
President Tanaka | The president of a mega-corporation, specializing in TV-shopping programs, most notably 'Tanaka's Amazing Commodities'. Despite a tendency for unethical or underhanded practices, he remains well-regarded. | TP Staff |
Saeko Takami | A teacher at Seven Sisters High, Saeko is very popular with her students. She's extremely dedicated to them, to the point where she will keep after them if that's what it takes to ensure that they will do well. More than one student has had her as a mentor. | TP Staff |
Mr. Edogawa | The nurse at Gekkoukan High. Highly eccentric and well-versed in the occult, but harmlessly so. If someone wants to talk about Hermetic systems or Shinto traditions, he's the guy to see. His home-brewed medicine, while effective, tastes horrible. | TP Staff |
Factional NPCs
NPCs used specifically by factions (i.e. SEES scientists, DS info-brokers, Kagutsuchi fences) go here.
Name | Description | Contributor |
NPC Name Here | Add a (short) description of the NPC here. (Please leave these Row 1 cells as examples, and add additional cells below in alphabetical order). | Put your own name here, so people know whom to contact! |
Toku, Chikalin, Master, Barkeep | Some assorted rumormongers of Sumaru City. Toru is a homeless man, Chikalin is a college student (real name: Chika Ueda), Master runs the cafe 'Jolly Roger' and also sells weapons for a price, and the Barkeep is a female bartender who works in Hotel Pleiades. All of them will trade a rumor for a rumor. (Darkside NPCs) | TP Staff |
Sumaru Genie | Nobody knows who the Sumaru Genie really is, but her fortunes have a habit of coming perfectly true. She also tends to know a little bit about rumors, and will trade them for a price. Some people swear they've seen her somewhere before, late at night. (Darkside NPCs) | TP Staff |
Officer Kurosawa | A police officer in Tatsumi Port Island. He has a bit of an informal alliance with SEES, and tries to support them with equipment when he can. He knows something happens in the night, even if he's not altogether sure what it is. (SEES NPCs) | TP Staff |
Personal NPCs
If you have NPCs tied to your business/backstory/etc., and you are open to other people using them for plot purposes, please list them here!
Name | Description | Contributor |
Inohiko Koinose | A shadow-possessed being who lives on the west side of Mikage-cho. Looking like a giant carp with some disturbing humanoid features, he is infested with barnacle-like shadows. As he hides in a cave underneath the shell of a two-story house, most have only seen his whiskers, which he uses like hands through the house's windows to interact with whomever comes. His blunt and pessimistic nature keeps most away, aside from the Jack Frosts that deliver his manga. There are rumors of a woman who visits him often- if too much time passes between her visits, the ground around the house begins to rumble ominously. | Enoha Koinose |
Shou Hatoori | A likeable, altruistic lawyer in his 40s operating in the Lunarvale area. He's known in some circles for taking on pro bono civil rights and human rights cases as well as being a tireless worker, sometimes to a manic degree. He's also very hard to catch, with his no-nonsense secretary acting as a sort of 'bouncer'. Maybe he's very selective about what cases he takes on, or there's something else at play. | Enoha Koinose |
Row 2, Cell 1 | Row 2, Cell 2 | Row 2, Cell 3 |
TP NPCs
NPCs related to on-going TPs. Time may see them in other categories, but for now they are here.
Name | Description | Contributor |
NPC Name Here | Add a (short) description of the NPC here. (Please leave these Row 1 cells as examples, and add additional cells below in alphabetical order). | Put your own name here, so people know whom to contact! |
Hideo Matsuda | Magnum Opus TP. A former member of the Yamaguchi-gumi yakuza who has only recently returned to the outside world after over a decade of time served at Akashi Prison. Uncouth and violent, Matsuda is the current distributor of the Cintamani drug. | Daisuke Itami |
Takumi Yoshida | Magnum Opus TP. Yoshida Pharmaceuticals, a long-standing Sumaru-based company that operates branches in both Konan and Tatsumi-shi. His company has recently taken a steady and remarkable financial upturn. | Daisuke Itami |
Kaito Yoshida | Magnum Opus TP. The shooter who attacked City Hall, currently hospitalized and under police custody. | Daisuke Itami |
Other NPCs
NPCs who don't fit in the other categories for some reason go here (non-villainous demons, travelers from another country, etc).
Name | Description | Contributor |
NPC Name Here | Add a (short) description of the NPC here. (Please leave these Row 1 cells as examples, and add additional cells below in alphabetical order). | Put your own name here, so people know whom to contact! |
Mara-chan | A well-meaning but moody demon with an unfortunate body shape. Often seen carted around by a group of greedy petas, who use her to somehow scam others out of money, food, or just about anything their tiny little brains can think of, which isn't that much. If you see them, expect antics, misunderstandings, and Mara-chan wondering why she needs to be covered all the time. | Alice or TP staff |
Trish | A fairy found in 'dungeon-like' locations (caves, abandoned factories, Midnight Channel, Kadath, etc). She runs a healing spring for weary travelers, but charges ridiculously high prices and curses people out when they don't pay. She is generally hated. | Trish or TP Staff |
Time Count | While an antiques broker and the manager of Time Castle, a clock and antiques store, the man only known as the Time Count remains enigmatic even to long-time Rengedai residents. No one can really say where he came from, or how long he's been in the city. If you're looking to come into the possession of some strange items, though, the Time Count is just the person to talk to. However, you might find yourself getting a little too much of what you wanted. is very definitely not Nyarlathotep what are you talking about |
TP Staff |
Karl and Wilhem | Rumor-generated ex-Nazis who somehow stuck around. They're pretty much fine with this, as they were bad at being Nazis and vastly prefer modern life, especially movies. They have a habit of just showing up in the background while things are going on, typically while comparing things to this or that movie. They don't have power armor anymore, but they do have a big TV. | Philemon or TP Staff |
