Mitsuru Kirijo is the heir of the Kirijo Group, the funding behind SEES. As such, she often feels that she must be an example to the other members. She is academically amazing, a first year engineering student at the prestigious Fra Mauro University and one of the more knowledgeable members of SEES, behind only her father and Ikutsuki. Despite this, Mitsuru is actually somewhat awkward, socially, and projects an image of cool detachment to prevent herself from being removed from her comfort zone. She often feels that her life is being run by others, but she works with SEES loyally despite this, for her father's sake and out of a sense of responsibility for those she's pulled in. |
